Rae Rae Visits

One of our favorite people in the whole wide world came to visit us for an extra long, extra fun weekend. Rae Rae came to Massachusetts and boy did we have fun.

Our first day was spent at Franklin Park Zoo.
Sis had a great view from her stroller. One day very soon we will be chasing you around the zoo.

So big!

Cruising around the zoo, kangaroo style.

Done at the zoo, now we are off to our next fun adventure.

After Rae Rae and I dropped the kids off at school, we were off to catch a ferry to Martha's Vineyard for the day.

Look out streets of Oak Bluffs Rae Rae and Muda rented a moped fro the next couple of hours.

Shes a natural.

Taking a break in Edgartown. The Edgartown lighthouse is supposed to be in this picture too ... its behind Rae Rae's hair.

I love it when we're cruisin together.

You can't say you weren't warned.

Pretty girl taking the ferry home ... what a jam packed full of fun day together.

We spend the ENTIRE day on Friday in Boston ... we started the day with a boat ride into Boston. Sis and Rae Rae have some girly bonding time. Watch out Rae Rae she is a cutie but she can spit up like the best of them.

Tasty fingers ... we are getting rid of that pacifier. She loves her fingers.

Once Sam hit the stroller he took a nap. This is the first time this kid has been in a stroller since his sister was born - let me tell you ... he LOVED being pushed around. We snuck into Dunkin Donuts for coffee and bagels - of course we got chocolate munchkins for Sammy so he could have them when he woke up. Look at how happy those donuts made this kid. Silly boy!

Make Way for Rae Rae and Sam!

Hanging out in the Public Garden. Double thumbs up!

Rae Rae found the spot - Wow, it was like she hypnotized Sam. He went from 60 to 0 in 30 seconds flat, and he wouldn't let her stop. Note to self mom - massage the ears.

Let's take a ride on the swan boats.

Time for lunch - our favorite ... picnic in the park.

Ali makes her rounds, this girl is a mover and a shaker.

It is so funny - I think I subconsciously dress us all to match. This happens a lot.

Yeah, we finally made it to Frog Pond in the Boston Common. Our first time and Sam loved it.
He can't get his shoes off fast enough.

Rae Rae takes a rest with Sis while Sam and I play in the water.

Sunbathing ... how relaxing.

One of Sam's favorite summer treats - Italian Ice

Did I mention that the boy does NOT like to be WET. I am surprised he lasted as long as he did with that wet t-shirt.

Ah shade!

Fresh, Dry clothes ... you'd think he would be happy?

Walking through the park and Sam stopped to listen to this women play a very "special" insturment. He tipped her. I think he wanted to keep the money for himself.

When we found out the Rae Rae had NEVER been to PF Changs we had to go there for lunch. Dan met up with us for his FAVORITE place to eat.

On our way back to the boat, we had to stop at Quincy Market. Sam has to be just like Rae Rae.

I think I woke up one day and had a big kid. Sam is growing up so fast.

Rae Rae has some fun with Sis ... is she tickleish?

Funny faces.

Mean faces.

We headed out for a day at the Outlet Mall and ended up at Patriots Place near Gillette Stadium. The boys had a great time playing on all the jumpies. Not sure who had more fun Sam or Dan.

Mr. Cool Guy, too busy looking cool that he forgot about the little guy ... check out Sam in the back ground.

We did make it to the outlets, after eating at Toby Keiths "I Love this Bar and Grill" - Yummy. The girls got a chance to shop.

Notice the flamingos - Rae Rae's favorite.

We had so much fun while Rae Rae was here visiting. We had every minutes jam packed full of fun. We can't wait to see her again very soon - We hope.

Thank you for coming Rae Rae. We love you!
