What a fun weekend ... we were on the go. Saturday we went to the beach and played in the water, the sand and ate a picnic lunch. The beaches on the Cape are the best, especially the ones on the Bay side at low tide - it is so cool to walk out for a mile or so until you hit the water. Dan and I now have a deeper
appreciation for the tide pools at low tide too - Sam enjoyed playing in those.
We took Sam on his first kayak ride - the rocking of the kayak put him asleep almost instantly - who knows the little guy may have been recouping from all the fun at the beach earlier in the day too.

Sunday we took a nice 20 mile bike ride on the Cape Cod Rail Road Bike Trail ... Sam slept through most of that too. After the bike ride we headed to "Sundae School" for ice cream. Sam made his way to everyone, of course we all shared - he is on the verge of getting his own because he eats so much - maybe next time. We had a great weekend, it is always nice to spend it with family.

Looks like fun! Caroline went on a kayak ride last weekend herself- but no sleeping there. She was much too excited looking at the trees and the birds and putting her hands in the water. Fun times! Love all your pics!
