Visit form Uncle JT at the end of JUNE

My brother will be leaving for Iraq at the end of July. So he came to see us before he leaves. Sam really enjoys time with his Uncle JT ... we love when he comes to visit.
Early riser - JT dropped me off at the train station in the morning so he could have the car while I was at work. He took the train in later that day so we could meet up for dinner and some brother/sister time.
One of our first stops was at "TELUXE" a little tea shop in the Back Bay (Boston) and JT had his first "bubble tea" see the balls at the bottom of the cup. It is quite the experience, I recommend it if you have never tried it. We had dinner at Casa Romero where we sat on the patio, when I say patio I mean it looked like the patio of someone who lives in the city back yard - it was small. We did enjoy some Mexican food though.
We met up with my friend Lauren & her fiance Jake after dinner for some drinks.
We took JT to F1 - a race car amusement place. Dan and JT raced. Sam and I watched. Check out the video at the end of this post.

The boys after the race - Sweat much ... by the looks of it they ran the track. Much deserved R & R if you can call it that. Sam pretty much entertained us that day at the beach ... he was giving zurberts on Dan's back. JT twisted his ankle the day before he left playing basketball at the YMCA with Dan, so he was somewhat out of commission for the last part of the trip. He was a trooper though.
Awh! Brother and Sister. How sweet. My mom wanted us to get some pictures taken so she could update hers from 10 years ago. Here you go Mom.

Being silly.

Sam is getting heavy - so JT bends at the knees. He already hurt his foot, no need to hurt his back to.

Sam is so sad that his uncle has to go home, he wishes he lived closer so he could play with him all the time - he has so much fun when his uncle comes to visit.
Sam and Uncle JT being silly in the car on the way to the airport.
At the airport. JT will be gone from late July until early December ... he is always in our thoughts and prayers as he fights for our country in IRAQ. We can't wait to see him when he gets home.
