Visit from Grandma McGraw (Dahma Draw) in April

It is always so nice when family comes to visit. My mom was here for almost 2 weeks. My brother was going to run the Boston Marathon this year with the 'Armed Forces' but didn't get his confirmation until a week before the race (not enough time to train for a 26 mile run), so he didn't end up running it. It was a bummer, because we were all looking forward to spending some time with him (mom included). Anyway, we had a nice visit. Sam loves being with Grandma, he really enjoys the time they spend together, he pulls him around everywhere he goes.

We bought a membership to the Boston Children's Museum, so we took
Grandma there to check it out. Sam had fun exploring the sand table.

We also made our way to Weir River Farm to check out the horsies and other animals.
Sam and Grandma check out Sam's horesie friends.

My mom was here for the 2nd birthday too, I will post pictures to that soon.

Boom Boom Pow!

When Jay.T was here in February, I took him to a Black Eyed Peas concert. We had a blast. Here are so shots from the show. We had front row seats in the "cheap seats" they weren't bad. Jay.T would be upset if I didn't post a picture of Fergie ... this is the best picture we got.

Enjoying the show.
Ludicrous opened up the show.
We grabbed a bite to eat at The Hard Rock Cafe before the show.
Killing time on the train ride into Boston ... Self Portrait Silliness.

The photo ops before we left the house ... thought we'd forget to take pictures while we were out ... that wasn't the case.
Jay. T will be happy to see this video posted ... it is almost the entire song BOOM BOOM POW (kind of our theme song for now), no song will ever be quite as powerful as Gangsters Paradise. Anyway, if you have patience to listen/watch the video in it's entirety you will here me rocking out to the song. By the way, the concert was AWESOME!

Barnyard Babies

The barn babies came to our library during February School Vacation week ... luckily it fell on a Wednesday so I was able to take my little guy. Sam has become very interested in animals lately ... especially horses. On our way to church on Easter Sunday the horses were out at the horse training school across the street, during the entire service Sam kept saying horsies. We promised we would go see them when church let out. Sure enough we did, we walked down the very chilly street so same could check them out. He was upset when we left.

As eager as Sam was to see the animals, he didn't really want to get to close.

I already forgot the name of this bird (I think it was some kind of chicken).

Sam was so excited to see this little pig, so I thought he might want to get in the pin with it (along with his buddies Abe and Zack). He lasted 45 seconds.

A baby goat. Yes, it is wearing a diaper.

Abe snuggles with a baby bunny.

Zack snuggles too.

I turned my head for a second, next thing I see is Sam trying to rescue all of the caged animals.

The boys say "cheese" and pose with the kitten.

Zack plays with the puppies. He was the bravest of the bunch.

Sam thinks he wants to get in the cage, again it only last a few seconds. We tried.

Time to put the animals away.

Sam and Abe play around before we leave.

Easter weekend fun

Here comes Peter Cotton Tail, hopping down the bunny trail ... We started Easter Sunday at Church. Sam saw the horses were out at the stables across the street, and reminded us of them every 30 seconds or so. Needless to say we took a short walk after church to wish our horsie friends a "Happy Easter."
Sam and Daddy after church.
Look at his kid ... what a preppy.
Sam was really not getting into the Easter photo shoot ... all he wanted to do was check out his (multiple) Easter baskets.
And boy was he psyched.
Cheesing it up for the camera.

The Cape Cod Easter Bunny (Grandma & Grandpa) hit the jackpot this year with a mini basketball. Noting else matter once he spotted the "hoops" ball.

So, Dan dressed up as the Maplewood Easter Bunny. I have such a great husband. He posed with all the kids and gave each of the kids an Easter basket for the big Easter Egg Hunt.

On our way to the egg hunt.
It took Sam a few minutes to get the idea of the egg hunt, he kept wanting to stop after each egg and open it up to see what kind of candy he got. He got pretty speedy at picking up the eggs.
Boy was he excited!
Over 100 eggs for 4 very eager little boys.
Abe, Liam, Sam, Zach and Jackson pose for the camera after all the eggs have been found.
This was the weekend my little Sambone discovered candy .... AND HE LOVED IT!
The boys play around with squirt bottle after the hunt. Who ever thought boys could have so much fun with old (cleaned out) cleaning bottles ... I'm talking hours of play.

Don't you wish you knew what they were talking about.
The Easter Bunny (Mom and Dad) brought Sam a cool lawnmower, with his own gas can. We opened the Arizona Easter Bunny (Grandma and Pap) basket later in the day and Sam got a new bathing suit.
HAPPY EASTER EVERYBODY!
